Virtually Eliminates Environmental Interference
In today’s mills, environmental interference, such as variable frequency drives, radio interference, and AC noise creates a big problem for many metal detecting systems. This may result in false tripping which will force you to lower your sensitivity and drastically reduce your metal detector performance. Our systems are designed to help filter out these effects.
Peak Performance
Any material with conductive properties will generate a response when passing through the metal detector. The MDI System extracts specific information from this response and applies sophisticated algorithms with which to classify the response. Therefore, we nearly eliminate environmental interference and amplify desirable response, giving you the best sensitivity for your metal detector with little or no false tripping.

Diamond Construction Process
The Diamond Construction Process produces a tough coil that is highly resistant to interference from CB and radio noise as well as vibration. MDI specifically designed a coil that is rugged and will stand up to the demands of the harsh physical environments in which MDI Metal Detectors must endure.
view-link module (optional add-on)
The View-Link allows MDI to remotely connect to your metal detector in order to monitor, diagnose, and custom program your system in order to optimize performance. When properly connected, MDI's Service Department can directly access and adjust the metal detector to aid in identifying unwanted metal targets, environmental interference, and improve or customize your sensitivity levels. If the technician cannot resolve a problem through the programming in the software, the View-Link will allow for the Metal Detector to be monitored remotely, potentially providing crucial information that could lead to resolution of the interference.
